Inactive users

Welcome to the brand-new Helldivers Forum Community!

Super Earth High Command orders you to enlist in Helldivers Forum today and serve with honor! We demand active Helldivers — not idle numbers. Failure to enlist and participate is treacherous behavior, especially if summoned by operative n7 after a mission. Come on you apes! You wanna live forever?

What is HDF’s inactive account policy?

We want keep our community active and engaging by encouraging all members to log in and participate regularly. If you don’t log into your HDF account for over 30 days, we may flag your account as inactive. After prolonged inactivity, we may remove your account to free up usernames and maintain community integrity.

How does HDF determine inactivity?

We determine inactivity based on your login and minimum community engagement history. We want active members, not just numbers. Although the system automatically prunes users based on login, moderators and staff can manually set accounts as inactive based on the user's activity or lack thereof. If a user signs in to lurk the site and does not post any content, such as topics, comments, or photo uploads, in 30 days, they may be at risk of being manually pruned. We don’t count activities like reading posts or browsing while logged out as active use.

What if an inactive account is using a username tied to my trademark?

If you believe someone is using your registered trademark with an inactive account, you can submit a request under HDF’s trademark policy. We review all trademark claims carefully and apply our policy guidelines to each case.

What if I want a username registered by an inactive account, but I don’t have a trademark?

We don’t currently release usernames from inactive accounts unless a valid trademark claim supports the request. If your preferred username is unavailable, try using creative variations by adding numbers, symbols, or abbreviations.
