User blogs system and other updates

Hello everyone! Today, I implemented two significant changes to the site that are worth mentioning.

Blogging System​

The first thing I implemented today was a basic blogging system that allows you to create a blog where you can express yourself. You can find the blogs section by clicking on "Blogs" under the Helldivers dropdown menu above or by clicking here.

All registered members and staff are allowed to create and manage one blog. You can find information on setting up your blog here.

Other updates​

In addition to the updates above, we implemented several other features for HDF.

Conversation Folders​

You can now sort your conversations into named folders with Conversation Folders. You can create folders and file your discussions in them.

Discord Widget​

We added a Discord server widget to the sidebar, which features channels and online users.

Gaming Profiles​

You can now input your favorite gamer tags of the games you play. i.e., PSN, Xbox, Steam, etc.

Character Counter​

We added a character and word counter to the rich-text editor. It should help you reach the minimum character requirement for your post.

Daily Goals​

The Daily Goals widget enables us to set goals for daily posts, threads, and member registrations. It is similar to the Daily Orders from Helldivers 2.

Default Avatar and Banner​

Newly registered members now sport a default avatar and profile banner. Although these are great, we encourage new members to update their profile information and introduce themselves as soon as possible.

Default Avatar: Our site will assign this avatar to all new accounts created after this announcement.

Default Banner: This profile banner applies to new accounts that do not have a user-selected banner.

Avatar Gallery​

We now have a collection of avatars that may be relevant to your interests.

Member Self-Delete​

Members can now delete or deactivate their HDF accounts.
